A defining milestone for India–UK gem & jewellery trade!

 

The High Commission of India in London, in association with GJEPC, hosted a special certificate ceremony to recognise the first jewellery import shipments under the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) on its day of implementation, 15 July 2026.

The exporters were facilitated by:

As the India–UK CETA ushers in duty-free access for Indian gem & jewellery exports, the agreement is set to strengthen bilateral trade, enhance India’s global competitiveness, and unlock new opportunities for exporters, further advancing Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Design and Make in India, for the World.’
